Question 1: What should I do when they say I’m overqualified?

Question: I've applied to quite a few jobs and they keep saying that I'm over-qualified. I recently got my master's degree in English and I think that intimidates the people who are interviewing me. I'm thinking about leaving it off of my new resume. What do you think I should do? T.W.
